I'm proud to announce that we are officially providing mix services here at our studio, THE JB CAVE. I've been mixing records for the last 6 years but have never offered the option to the public for mix projects. I want to be involved with projects from around the world and bring your music to the next level. How it works is - You will upload your project files to a server and select which mixing package you want. Plain and simple. We use the best software and plugins in the game as well as analog hardware and analog summing to finish your mixes. All musical genres are welcome and we are confident in raising the quality of your production. Excited to work with you on YOUR project.
Hey y'all! Sitting here in my normal morning get up (ok it's afternoon by now). Coffee in hand and way overdue for an update. We've been going steady here at the Cave with some cool projects to start the year!
Started January off with Cambodian Star, Laura Mam. We've been workin' on tunes together for a few years and the songs are absolutely TAKING OFF in Cambodia. She's been pushing original music out there and even started a contest for songwriting.
After my project with Laura I jumped into a 7 song record with Late Night Revival, a killer indie/pop band from Riverside.

Spent two solid weeks on this one. Co-writing and dialing in some serious tones. It was definitely one of my favs so far this year. Album comes out later this year. In the vein of Walk The Moon, The 1975 and St. Lucia. Expect big things from these guys soon!
After this one I took a little break from production and went on the road for 3 weeks playin' some bass for YouTube star Ricky Dillon. Was a blast meeting a bunch of new friends and collaborating with different artists.

Tour Crew - Final day in Minneapolis
As soon as I landed I jumped STRAIGHT into a 4 song EP with Orange County rock band Them Evils. This one was so much fun. These songs are hard hitting, gritty, soulful and rough around the edges. This band is going to be huge. For fans of Rival Sons, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Queens of the Stone Age.

My most recent project that I wrapped was with up and coming R&B, indie artist Jessica Domingo from Seattle, WA. We've spent a good few months re-defining her sound and started an entire re-branding process. We've really created something we both are in love with it sounds so fresh and original. Her new EP comes out in a few months co-written from the ground up here at my studio. Dreamy R&B with a fuzzy analog edge. Be on the lookout for new stuff soon. For fans of Alina Biraz, Banks, Drake, The Weeknd, NAO.

Tribal Theory has finally released their new lead single "Burnin'" on YouTube and iTunes for download! We started writing this song this summer looking for something anthemic, rockin' and in the vein of their island roots. Was fun adding marching snares, and huge gang vocals on this track. Been going non-stop here at my place creating with some fantastic young artists and am so excited to share what I have been up to. So take a look around. A few recent project I've been working on:
Tribal Theory! Local urban reggae band based out of San Diego, CA. We just wrapped production for their new EP entitled "RECLAMATION". Here is a campaign video for their recently launched Kickstarter. It was a blast for me working on a project like this. I don't usually work with many Reggae / Island groups but the chemistry was insane. We created something fresh and unique. Album drops late winter / early spring.
Another sweet project I just finished at the end of 2015 was a fantastic indie / pop band called "Rival Summers". 2 killer dudes from Michigan. You can peep their new single "STAY" now.
